Are you a holder of a Class A or Class B CDL with an automatic transmission limitation? Are you interested in expanding your driving qualifications to include manual transmissions? Removing this restriction enhances your job prospects and opens up new possibilities for increasing your earnings.
For instance, positions that involve specialized hauling, such as operating manual transmission commercial motor vehicles in sectors like logging and heavy hauling, often require this unrestricted license.
We provide two options to remove your manual restriction:
Option 1:
If you’ve already obtained the necessary skills and just need to pass the CDL Skills Road Test, we can facilitate third-party testing with a state examiner using our vehicles.
Option 2:
For those requiring hands-on skill training, we offer up to 15 hours of instruction on public roads (scheduled in sessions with an instructor), not necessarily consecutive.

Manual Restriction Removal course:
Obtain a permit (in your class) with the Manual restriction removed
(this will place a 14 day hold for you to complete your skills training).
Complete a DOT Drug Screening:
A prerequisite DOT drug screen must be passed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Skills Training:
Partake in essential behind-the-wheel training specifically for the city drive portion of your skills exam, with up to 15 hours.
Pass Your Skills Exam:
Conclude your training by passing your skills exam, demonstrating your competency in operating a manual transmission vehicle.
