Is it hard to complete the CDL Course?

Short answer is NO, but it does have its own challenges. The most challenging factor we have seen is consistency in attendance. Other than that it’s pretty simple, we provide a stress free environment and most of our students that have good attendance pass. 99% of students who go through our course pass and get employed.

What is the hardest part of getting a CDL?

Attendance, being here on time. That’s the only thing students struggle with. Some students that work and attend school simultaneously will usually miss a few days of school.

Can a non citizen get a CDL?

What are the CDL requirements?

  • Be 18 or older to drive within SC
  • Be 21 or older to drive outside SC
  • You passed all required knowledge tests for a CDL or CLP in the class vehicle you intend to drive
  • Held your CLP for at least 14 days before testing
  • Pass the road test, which includes the pre-trip inspection, off-road, and on-road driving

Can I get my CDL without going to school?

Effective February 2022, you will have to complete a 160-hour course to be able to obtain a CDL.

For what vehicles do I need a Commercial Driver License?

A Commercial Driver’s License is required to drive commercial motor vehicles such as tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, dump trucks, and passenger buses.

Do you need a DOT physical to get a CDL permit?

No, however you will need one to receive your CDL.

How can I pass my CDL road test?

We recommend that you attend an accredited CDL training school where you will learn all necessary skills to successfully obtain your  Commercial Driver’s License.

Do I need a CDL to drive an RV?

If you use your recreational vehicle for recreational purposes, you do not need a CDL. However, if you are operating a recreational vehicle for business, you must have a CDL.

Are you helping to get a CDL permit?

If needed, we provide students with resources that assist them in obtaining their Commercial Learner’s Permit.
